Overview

On the Campaign Send reporting page, the email metrics will display under the Send Info.

Send Info and Email Header

The Send Report begins with the Sent time and date, number of Subscribers on the Send, List or Segment name for the Send, and the name of the Campaign the send belongs to

Below the Email header, the subject line used in the send is displayed, as well as the Campaign name and the name of the List or Segment used to populate the send.

A View Message link is also available. When you click the button, a new page displays showing the message sent including the From Name and Subject Line.

Engagement Metrics

The next section of the send report is the Engagement Metrics. The Engagement Metrics enable you to visualize customer engagement with the send you are analyzing. The Engagement Metrics consist of three parts - Delivery Rate, Open Rate, and Click To Open Rate. Each is displayed as a circle, with a percentage of the circle colored in to match the percentage of the rate displayed within the circle.

Below each ring and metric are the values used to calculate the percentage - the Detailed Metrics.

Detailed Metrics

Total Sent and Delivered

These values represent the number of emails sent out to subscribers on the send, and the number that were actually delivered, rather than bouncing. The number shown for each of these rows is a link to a detailed report of the subscriber sent/delivered events and the time sent or delivered.

From either of these pages, you can generate a downloadable report. You will receive an email notification when the report is available in the Download Center for download.

Total and Unique Opens

These values show the total number of subscriber open events for the email, and a count of unique opens - counting each subscriber only once. These can differ if an individual subscriber opens the email more than once. The number shown for each of these rows is a link to a detailed report of the open events and their timestamps. Only the first open event for a subscriber is captured in the unique opens.

From either of these pages, you can generate a downloadable report. You will receive an email notification when the report is available in the Download Center for download.

Total Clicks, Unique Clicks, and Click-Through Rate

These values show the total number of clicks from subscribers on this email, as well as a calculation of unique clicks, where an individual subscriber/email interaction is counted only once. Regardless of the number of clicks to any number of links in a Send, at the Send level a subscriber can only have a maximum of one Unique Click.

The number shown for each of these rows is a link to a detailed report of the click events and their timestamps. Only the first occurrence of a subscriber/link click combination is captured in the unique clicks.

From either of these pages, you can generate a downloadable report. You will receive an email notification when the report is available in the Download Center for download.

Below these two values is the Click-Through Rate, which compares Unique Clicks to Emails Delivered, as opposed to the CTOR, which compares Unique Clicks to Unique Opens.

Opt-Outs, Opt-Out Rate, and Spam Complaints

This row of data details the total number of one-click Opt-Outs made from this email, if a one-click opt out link is available on the email, as well as the rate of Opt-Outs for the email, and the number of spam complaints reported back to Questline from ISPs on this email, if any.

Clicks that take the reader to a Preference center where they may then optionally choose to unsubscribe do not count in this value.

Note that not every ISP reports back spam complaint numbers.

From the detailed opt out or spam complaint pages, you can view a detailed listing of subscribers who have opted out or complained, as well as generate a downloadable report. You will receive an email notification when the report is available in the Download Center for download.

Bounces

This row of data shows numbers representing the total number of hard and block bounce events for the send, as well as the individual numbers of each metric. Clicking any of these numbers will bring up a detailed report of the subscriber emails that bounced, with timestamps and bounce messages, if any.

From any of these pages, you can generate a downloadable report. You will receive an email notification when the report is available in the Download Center for download.
