Getting Started and Logging In

If you have subscribed to Engage Content, it will be available to you as a choice upon logging into Engage. You'll see Content listed in the menu bar alongside other Engage functions such as Campaigns and Sites, as in this example:

Once you select Content from the menu, you'll be placed at one of two locations based on the Role assigned to your user account. If you have Reporting-only access, you'll be placed at the Reporting page (covered here), otherwise you'll see the Discover page:

The Discover Page

The Discover page is where most Content users will start their session. This page allows users to browse through the recently added articles available for publication, as well as searching for specific articles based on keywords or article types.

There's twelve large thumbnails on the Discover page, representing the dozen articles most recently added to Engage Content by Questline. Each thumbnail image shows the article's title underneath it, and each image and title is a link to the full article within the Content system (more on that here).

Searching and Search Results

If you're looking for articles on a specific topic, you can search using the Search field above the thumbnails of recent content. Just enter a keyword or phrase in the Search field and hit Enter on your keyboard.

The system will search for whatever terms you enter here across all articles available, and will look for your search terms in the body of each article, as well as the titles and summaries.

Results of your search are returned in a display similar to the thumbnails of the Discover page. In the example below, we've run a search for the word solar across all available content.

Note: You may notice search results there that don't have images above the titles, just an icon representing where a picture might go. That's because those articles are just plain text, and don't have any convenient images to use as a thumbnail.

Your search results can be a few results, or a lot, depending on the topic and your search terms. A maximum of 12 thumbnails/titles will be displayed per page, but if there are more than 12 search results, you'll see controls at the bottom right of the screen allowing you to move from one page to the next, or the previous, or even the first or last page of all results:

Filtering and Sorting Results

If you have several pages of search results, you may want to filter or sort the results to more quickly find the specific content to fit your needs.

At the top of the page, up where you put in your search terms at first, you'll see two options labelled "Filter" and "Sort".

Filter allows you to select to view only articles flagged as for Electric or Gas Residential or Business audiences, or all articles. Depending on your account type, you may not see all of these options.

Sort allows you to select to view articles sorted by Search relevancy, or by Date Added to the system. NOTE: If you select either Search or Date Added a second time, the sort will switch between descending and ascending order of the search type.

When you've found an article you'd like to look at further - either by browsing through the Discover page, or by searching for a specific term or topic - you can click the thumbnail image or title of an article to pull up the content's detailed page.
